One Hot Skirt (#2)

My One Hot Skirt review is up at Sew, Mama, Sew! There are lots of detail pictures, including how I bound the bottom of this skirt, and how I prickstitch my facings down. After you go look, read all the other reviews -- it's Skirt Month in May, just in time for summer!

I wore this one on Saturday with a cute white top, but didn't get a picture. Maybe next time. :)

Both your skirts are really cute, and the review was fantastic.

I really love the binding on the skirt - its what makes it so kewl! And thanks for turning me onto SewMamaSew...my two new pieces of fabric are sitting next to me as I type waiting to be tossed into the washing machine! I can't wait to sew them up!

Hi, I've been looking at your creations. You do an awesome job! I love the in town bag. I saw that you used "shirt fuse", is this like an interfacing? I just finished my first bag, I only used a light weight fusible interfacing that I had on hand on the lining of it and a thicker, stiffer interfacing for the bottom. The sides arent' stiff enough to hold up. I'm going to put some pictures of it on my blog later.
