A Thing Of Beauty

What does it say about me that I am thrilled to have a new oven? Am I all grown up now?
It came yesterday. I had to leave to take Calvin to gymnastics practice while it was getting installed, so I didn't get to see it in all its glory until about 7:45 last night. It's beautiful and I <3 it.

We had lemon poppyseed muffins for breakfast this morning. I plan to make cookies later. I can start making bagels again, half of my dinner plans won't be thwarted for lack of an oven, AND I have 3 oven racks (when previously I only had 1).

That is a beautiful oven! I went without an oven for about a week once, and I was ecstatic when my new one finally arrived! Enjoy! :)

You can call me Betty, or Bethany, or Beth ...Just don't call me late for dinner. said...

I'd have to say an oven which is required to make baked goods which are truly the foods of the gods could fall into the toys for big kids category.
And what you have there is a real Beaut!

Oh Linda, it's awesome! I'd be baking just to use it...and 3 racks?! Wow. That's amazing.
I'm stuck with the oven that came with the house...I think it's the first one that was ever made and I have it. Yes, it's that old. I'm so jealous!
