Soliciting Ideas

Two months from yesterday is my fifteenth wedding anniversary. I looked up an anniversary gifts table, and have found that the traditional gift is crystal, while the modern gift is watches. Usually David and I don't really do much of anything, maybe dinner out, but this year I want to do something special for him. I am stumped for ideas that would tie into either crystal or watches (wait, I could do something along the lines of 'time'. hmm....). Ideas anyone?

I'm not sure how much I can help - my husband is a watch junkie... he found a number of unusual watches this Christmas (the Japanese watches that you have to decipher the time) and liked them all. I'll have to look around to find the link for them....

Sorry, don't know how much help I can be. My anniversary gifts usually come in a discreet unmarked package from www.trashy.com. :-O

Maybe some kind of unusual time piece for his desk?

My husband is a watch junkie, too, so in our household a nice watch would be a very special gift. You could even get the back engraved. If your husband doesn't already have a full watch wardrobe, you can snoop shop a nice wide selection of basics at worldofwatches.com. On the other hand, trashy.com sounds like a *great* option, too, which you could definitely work into the watch (the verb not the noun) theme. ;-)

Maybe a "Time" theme...Time for (fill in the blank)? Or Spring Time, Summer Time, etc. Or (ahem) "Fun Time"!

I would give my husband a crystal photo frame with a great picture of the two of us. That way you can enjoy it also! Or, two crystal goblets and a bottle of champagne!
